Crónica is a label based in Porto, Portugal. Crónica is an artist-run labour of love started in 2003 as an outlet for local artists and that grew to become an imprint dedicated to electronic, computational, and experimental music, to the sound arts and to their intertwining with other artistic practices. Our publishing strategy embraces the post-digital domain and sets its sights on high quality standards rather than on strictly commercial criteria.

Besides music & artefacts, we also produced Futurónica, a biweekly show that ran for 200 episodes from 2009 to 2017, and Crónicaster, a podcast that ran for 122 episodes from 2005 to 2016.
